Second Chance Animal Sanctuary and Rescue is a family run not for profit organization founded in 2021 in Owen Sound, Ontario. The sanctuary provides a safe home for farm animals to live out their natural lives and operates a foster based dog rescue serving the Grey Bruce region. Dogs come from a range of backgrounds in Canada and abroad, and are cared for in foster homes until they are adopted into permanent families. The founders, Angela and Sunil, are committed to animal welfare, education, and the benefits of plant based living.
